Lines: 19 I have a PS/2 Model 30 286 and Windows/286. I just got a memory upgrade so now I have 1 Meg of RAM. My question is how do I setup Windows to use this? When I run the SETUP program, and I tell windows that I have extended memory, it modifies my CONFIG.SYS and everything is OK. It seems like Windows is using the memory. My problem is when I exit out of Windows, I see the DOS prompt, and then my computer is hung up. Windows installs 2 DEVICE= into my CONFIG.SYS: HIMEM.SYS and PS2EMM.SYS. If I try to take one out, when I start up windows, it says that my computers configuration has changed and I should run SETUP again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil Verghese Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ Verghese@topaz.rutgers.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
