Last night I was using VGIF (a shareware GIF viewing program) on
my computer with a Paradise VGA + card. The program supports a mode
for the Paradise VGA Professional card that does 640x400 in 256 colors.

This mode isn't supported on the VGA +. Just for grins I tried it and
it worked! I noticed a little snow when it was writing the screen, but
other than that it was just fine, and the improvement in some of the
pictures was great.
