Specifically, I have a QIC-02 tape drive, which uses a QIC-40 file interface. The software provided is the general backup program, but I want something that will allow a bit more flexibility. The vendor (Computerland) isn't talking, but I know that I have heard of such a beast. I received (via the net) specs on the 02 interface, but that really isn't enough to do what I want, plus I really don't really want to create such a beast if someone else has. Any and all help is appreciated. (Specific and/or general) Thanks, R. Alan Johnson (rajohn@hubcap.clemson.edu)
