Message-ID: <2801@daisy.UUCP> Date: 6 Mar 89 07:01:08 GMT Organization: Daisy Systems, Mt. View, CA Lines: 21 Ok, I know we just went over this, but I wasn't listening. Would someone be kind enough to e-mail me the scoop on installing a second hard disk controller? Can DOS access four hard disk drives and four floppy drives that way? Is it ok to use a WD1007A (ESDI) disk controller for the first controller (emulating an ST506-style controller) and a real cheap clone controller for the second card? (Performance for the second card is not an issue.) Can Xenix handle this? The machine is an Everex Step 386/20. Since these questions were recently covered in this newsgroup, e-mail to me is probably a better idea than posting, if you can. I'm happy to mail copies of the replies to interested parties.
