Keywords: VIDEOTRAX VCR backup Message-ID: <470@istop.ist.CO.UK> Date: 3 Mar 89 16:31:31 GMT Organization: Imperial Software Technology, London, UK Lines: 13 This is in response to the earlier message referring to VIDEOTRAX product used for making backups onto a VCR. This is manufactured by a company based in Santa Ana CA, called Alpha MicroSystems. Alpha MicroSystems are primarily a manufacturer of multi user computer systems based on Motorola 68xxx. They have a proprietary OS called AMOS/L and provide VCR backup on these systems. This technology is very reliable, and cost effective. I have used it for a number of years and can vouch for the reliability. Its not too bad on speed either. Hope this will help! I do not work for Alpha Micro but have used their systems for over six years. gp.
