The formatter is very nice, very Scribe-like, and very programmable. I bought the package just for the formatter -- I don't even use the editor that comes with it, although that looks pretty nice too. Sure, it will cost money, but considering the power of the package, the price is very reasonable at the usual discounts (about $125).
