I don't think that this is much of a problem. The inability to do automatic kerning by storing negative paddings in the character descriptor is more of a problem. This makes italic or large soft fonts look bad unless your word processor can compensate for this restriction. It is indeed a great printer, the print quality is amazing. Benoit.
