In the spirit of seeing this whole sordid affair brought to a close (and
reducing the time I spend in Readnews below 2+ hours/day ) why don't those
with an item to sell post it to the group explicitly designed for that: 
Misc.forsale and those who are looking to buy check there.  A Mac system is
not (yet) an impulse buy, and the incovenience to a prospective buyer is less
than for the very sizable majority not looking to buy.  100+ posts/day is 
absolutely ridiculous.  Any more *discussion* should probably move to alt.flame
just for sanity's sake.  (By posting this I hope that I am not just adding to
the problem...)
