No, it is not required ever again. You only have to initialize it. Here at MMA, we don't have Laser Prep on the disks because of space limitations. One problem we run into constantly, however, is making certain that our watchperson has a disk with Laser Prep. Occasionally, we'll have midshipmen who turn off the printer, the power will go out, or someone will use a newer/older Laser driver and it will need to be re-prepped for all the others.
