as i remember in a past posting, someone from apple stated that nothing is
released before beta stages. one question here, why is 1.4a(1/2) out.. if this
is an "official" release, can't we get rid of the "a" and the 2 (in 1.4a2)?
it gets confusing figuring out what's the good stuff and what isn't (if 1.4a2
hasn't hit beta testing, i wouldn't want to mess with it, i'd rather stick with
an older version, know what i mean? better safe than sorry)
