There is a book, Mac Insights (Microsoft Press 1986) which lists system and
non-system error IDs. It also has a more comprehensive troubleshooting
section than Apple's documentation.

If you can't find this book, e-mail me and I will send you the codes
(there are 200+ of them and I'm too lazy to type them just yet!)
