It doesn't use Standard File (open files just like you would in the "real" vi) and the "undo" is broken; however, it is an excellent vi clone -- best of all it is PD. The second is the Z editor that runs in the Aztec C shell development environment. To my way of thinking this is not as good since it both costs and is not a standalone.
