It is my understanding that Apple got permission from the Dept of Commerce, & Dept of Defense to export a couple of SEs to Gorbachav and one or two other high ranking Soviets. Why, ? it may have to do with a bumper sticker I saw the other day on the back of a car turning into an Apple parking lot "Macintosh, changing the world on person at a time" Maybe he & Bush can sit down with a copy of Balance of Power.
