LaTex is got to be the finest typesetting software available (smile Lesile). I use it for all my papers. It is the only package that has a clue how to typeset equations. Tex on the otherhand is pretty cryptic, but still very powerful. I can't possibly imagine anything better, but if you know of something, please speak up. LaTex also blows away scribe.
