In linking a program in UCB universe with curses I get
	__rawmode
as an undefined symbol, even though I don't use crmode(), nocrmode(),
raw(), nl(), or any of those guys.  Comments, help, where can I get a
working version, etc., appreciated.  "what" says its revision 8.1,
with most files loooking like this:
        _clearline.c    8.1 (MASSCOMP) 10/4/85
        _clearline.c    8.1 compiled 3/16/88
        _clearline.c    8.1 machine MC500
