Why don't you just sell the Iris, buy a 386 based PC and do
real time interactive graphics?!!!

Sure, I have had 'minor' problems with SGI. I have had both 'minor' and
'major' problems with all vendors. Sure, the documentation is not always
right, etc. But, PC's with which I am quite familiar are the pits.
