My understanding is that 3/50's use a shoebox drive which is ESDI, with an Adaptec SCSI to ESDI adaptor, and that straight SCSI drives just don't work. I would be delighted to hear the contrary. (I've also heard that Macintosh SCSI isn't quite standard, at least from CDC's point of view: the MacWren has one wire cut in a standard Wren drive.)
