On updating to 4.0.1 I noticed that the file /usr/share/sys/conf.common/RELEASE is not changed,this is output by dmesg and goes into your /etc/motd It's sometimes useful,especially on a large net of Suns,to know exactly what you are running,(also to report back to Sun Customer Support), so you may wish to alter this file if you upgrade.
