I am a new user of rn on xenix 2.3.1. I've had news up and running for just a week or so. Last night, I ran expire ( -e 5 ) for the first time. This morning, when I tried running rn again, I got the message Warning! Somebody reset -- assuming nothing read. This message appears over and over, for dozens of newgroups. It makes it almost impossible to use rn. Does anyone know what causes this? I've even deleted my .newsrc file and let rn rebuild it. Same problem. I also deleted the history file and ran expire -r to rebuild that. Same problem. Any insights or suggestions would be VERY much appreciated. I'm at ...srhqla!sagepub!dfm. Thanks!
