If I start my programs with program -geometry WxH I get a window the requested size, and can place it on the screen using the window manager. If instead I say program -geometry WxH+X+Y I get a window, placed at (X,Y), but the window manager doesn't know about it. I have looked a bit in the source, and in the XLIB docs, but can't see what is wrong. Is this an InterViews bug, or have I simply botched everything? I am using AT&T cfront 1.2, X11.3 (a tape from october 1988), and the InterViews distribution from this X tape. I an using a Sun 4, running SunOS 4.0, with the display on a VaxStation2000. I am using twm, dated from October 18, 1988. Thanks. Rene' Seindal (seindal@diku.dk).
