No, what I meant was, that 750MB of swap on a large, central machine (such as an Alliant, a VAX 8800 or an Encore Multimax) with X terminals connected to it via Ethernet or SLIP is more cost effective than having 75 MB of swap local for each workstation. That way, the a_p_p_l_i_c_a_t_i_o_n_ that's u_s_i_n_g_ the large host (and not X itself in the terminals) has more potential swap. -- Robert Claeson, ERBE DATA AB, P.O.
