As Luis does not have access to the net, I'll try to answer your queries myself. I don't understand very well what the Prolog interpreter and compiler means. Luis was one of the original authors of C-Prolog, an interpreter. I've heard that some of the later versions of C-Prolog had been ported to the Mac, but I don't have any pointers on how to get it. After returning to Portugal, University of Porto, Luis started to write a Prolog compiler. I eventually joined him and the result was YAP (the careful reader might have guessed the meaning of the name by now). YAP is a commercial product and it is available for the Suns, Vaxen Macintosh's and lots of other machines. It is a compiler based on the WAM, and it follows the Edinburgh-Prolog syntax.
