If you need to write your own formatter then SDS supply a ready compiled interface module to which you are supposed to link your own formatting routines (they even supply sample routines). However, whilst I can link OK an attempt to run the linked program results in a complaint that the object file named on the command line 'cannot be opened'. This occurs even with the unmodified sample routines! Before anyone asks the object file is present and has the correct permissions. Indeed, this same file is correctly formatted by all of the other SDS supplied formatters. If anyone has any ideas or better still if SDS are on the net please email me. Thanks. ---------- Rob Clive.
