Message-ID: <597@ftp.COM> Date: 17 Mar 89 20:56:29 GMT References: <5686@watdcsu.waterloo.edu> Distribution: comp Organization: FTP Software Inc., Cambridge, MA Lines: 17 Tiara has two cards (a microchannel card and an AT card (16 bit only)) that use a Fujitsu ethernet chip called the MB86950 EtherStar. Tiara hasn't agreed to write a packet driver for it yet, but we've talked to them about it. Call them up and suggest it too. I think they also have an 8-bit card with the National chip on it (I havn't seen this one). If this is what you have, then it probably wouldn't take much work on Robert Clements' WD8003 packet driver to get it working. Gateway has done a packet driver. This would be best obtained directly from Gateway (ideally it would be shipped with the card) but we do have a copy if you can't. David Bridgham dab@ftp.com FTP Software
