I find both of them useful on my SV AT/2.4 system; they both help a lot with respectively efficient and reliable core allocation on segmented (and non) machines, and with speeding up backups. I am just emerging from a 3-4 month hiatus in which I have had little opportunity to work on my machine; since this will continue for a while, please do not try to mail me comments on these postings, I would have little time to reply (also, my machine is not directly connected to the network). Thank you for your cooperation. -- Piercarlo "Peter" Grandi | ARPA: pcg%cs.aber.ac.uk@nss.cs.ucl.ac.uk Dept of CS, UCW Aberystwyth | UUCP: ...!mcvax!ukc!aber-cs!pcg Penglais, Aberystwyth SY23 3BZ, UK | INET: pcg@cs.aber.ac.uk
