My A500 keyboard sits in a modified A2000 keyboard case (w/ holes for
the LEDs).  I had to trim a little metal from the 500 keyboard to get
it to close.  I connected it w/ 8 ribbon cable.  It works fine, except
that the return key is broken.  Maybe that's because it's fallen off
the desk several times -- I put the keyboard on piles I'd never trust
to put the 500 on.

Naturally, 1. I have special access to A2000 keyboard cases, and 2.
You must be responsible for FCC, safety, and warrenty considerations,
but then I see from your posting you understand that.
