I would initially consider the following important, but would like to learn the priorities of experienced users. - comprehensive working environment easily installed on hard disk - freedom from obscure bugs - reasonable efficiency of final code (speed and size) - good documentation - light-speed is not important to me /* this is a hobby, job#2 is sound-recording */ - why should I use an editor other than mg (I use GnuEmacs at job#1) - cost Please post or E-mail as you see fit.
