        Here is some result from DPerf2 for FF0: and DF0:
 
         FF0:
 
         Create files - 1 files/s               Directory scan:62 entries/s
         Destroy files - 1 files/s              Seek/Read test:20 seek/s
 
         DF0:
 
         Create files - 0 files/s               Directroy scan:39 entries/s
         Destroy files - 1 files/s              Seek/read test:18 seek/s
 
         The result is obtained on an A1000 with 512K with 
   autodiskchange runningthe backgroung as well as FastFont ant 
   and dmouse V1.1.  The disk head steprate is sped up from bbto o 
   600.  So as you can see, the FastFileSystem definite increase the
   speed of the disk activities.
