Yes.  I use the thinkjet driver.  I had problems until I changed the
switch configuration.  On the back of the printer, directly above the
cable connector, there is a set of 8 dip switches.  They need to
be in the following configuration:

         12345678
          X   X    1
         X XXX XX  0

This should work for you...
