You can get a good deal on a //c (I don't know about a //c+) from 47th Street in NYC (I have a colleague who just bought one for his daughter). The Laser will meet your current needs, has an expansion add-on box option, and supports parallel printers (the serial to parallel converters for the //c at about $60 work pretty well - I have a neighbor who bought one). Your preferences seem much like mine; if true, then the Laser or //c has much to recommend it (value for price) over the IIgs.
