It's LBR for Library. I presume that's why Andy chose that particular type. You can see this in BLU or Cat Doctor. What I'd like to see in ProDOS 8 optionally use the various filetype acronyms once Apple finishes standardizing on them. Some Applications use them, but some do not. Personally, when I see a list of $B8 and $B9 files, it's requires more forethought than if I see CDA and NDA. Reason why it matters: Kermit-65 is a ProDOS 8 program which I use for most of my file transfers. It's especially difficult when someone wants to get GSCLOCK (the CDA) and GSCLOCK (the NDA) at the same time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todd A.
