I don't think TIC could be giving a problem to any GS/OS process since it doesn't make any GS/OS calls or Toolbox calls (remember it's an 8-bit program that also runs on the //e and //c etc) so the problem may be with Finder since it seems that's the only difference in the way I'm running the program and the way you're running the program. I don't really have time for Finder which is why I use ECP16. (I've heard that the TIC ProSEL 16 combination works fine too under GS/OS btw).
