At the risk of becoming a Salman Rushdie for comp.sys.apple, I'd like to
ask a few questions.  Since I would like to hear from everyone, please
>MAIL< your answers to me, unless you think they deserve to be heard by 
everyone else.  I will post a summary of the information I've gathered
after a week or so.

1. For those of you who shout "Apple II Forever": Why?

2. For those of you who would NEVER buy a Mac over an Apple II: Why not?
	Do you know what's available for the Mac?

3. For those who hate the desktop/windows/mice enviroment: Why?  Note that
	this question really is for two groups of people: those who hate 
	the interface as it is implemented on the GS, and those who hate
	the whole IDEA of the desktop interface.

4. For everybody: What computer would you buy if the Apple II were killed
	off, and you HAD to buy a new machine.  Why?  How does the choice
	of computer depend on the reason for buying it.

Please realize that I am not being facetious.  These questions have bothered
me for some time now (about two and a half years, actually), and this seems
like the perfect place to have them answered.
