This is correct, I have a Central Point drive and controller and I can't boot
some of the software made for the //gs.  HOWEVER, I take issue with you for
making this statement under the heading of "Reliability".  My drive (which is
used as my second 3.5 drive) has no _reliability_ problems.  It always works
predictably and never "looses data" or acts "flaky".  It either will or
will not boot the software.  Also note, there are several pieces of software
(Paintworks II, Mean 18, etc.) which once booted, will run on this drive.
