Have you tried the TurboBASIC language and compiler..? It was written by the same programmer who did GFA BASIC for the Atari ST, and best of all, it's available for free.. commercial info services have it, and many local Atari BBSs and user groups should list it also.. It's upwardly compatible with Atari BASIC, and requires at least an XL.. It doesn't create standalone .OBJ files though, as commercial compilers like the DataSoft BASIC Compiler did.. BobR
