I am absolutely positive that the Adaptek 4000A controller board is MFM
and the 4070 is RLL.  I have both of these boards and have formatted
hard drives using both of them.  Please don't confuse them when looking
for a controller board!!  You'd be very disappointed if you bought an
MFM controller for an RLL compatible drive!! (you wouldn't get the
maximum storage capacity)...
