I have used Kermit and Xmodem/Umodem on my 3B1 for about 10 months
now, and have found them indispensible for transferring files to 
and from mainframes.  Problem is that the only place they  DON'T
work is from 3B1 to 3B1 over phone lines!  Anybody got any
suggestions?  The error message is something like "remote system
timed out for response" or something.  Maybe a threshold for
acknowledgement time?
