has anyone provided a modification of ckudia.c for ckermit 4E(072) which deals 
with a hayes 2400 modem? i have  been trying to bring up a desktalk II modem
on my ATT3B1  with no success. it works fine with 'cu' but locks on
kermit no matter how i describe it, either as itself or as unknown. (i
have modified ckudia.c to deal with it, according to the instructions
contained there.)

i have spoken to the maker who says that in 2400 baud mode, it
exactly reproduces a hayes 2400 baund modem.


by the way, i have taken the same modem to a DEC Rainbow running dos
2.11 and mskermit 2.31 and after a bit of trying, got it to perform
just like any other hayes clone. i am using it right now at 2400 baud!
