Lines: 16 I see reviews of various products for fast transfer of files between PCs using the parallel port. My question is: how do they do this? The PC parallel port is inherently unidirectional, so are they just using the status lines for transferring data? I would like to know...I have an application where I want bidirectional transfer like this. Before you post a reply quoting the PS/2; yes, I know that the PS/2 has a real bidirectional parallel port and that this is used for the IBM Data Migration Facility. I am asking about transfer using a vanilla parallel port on a PC/XT..... -- Bob Eager rde@ukc.UUCP ...!mcvax!ukc!rde Phone: +44 227 764000 ext 7589
