Short and sweet: I'd like to hear from anyone who is successfully
controlling a JVC VCR via a computer connected to the nine-pin remote
control connector (which is actually an RS-422 serial port).
Specifically, I have a model CR-600U 3/4" machine ("U-matic") but
suspect other JVC machines are similar.

The reason for the cross-post is that I'm using a PClone with
an RS-422 board but I know lots of Amigans are doing video things with
their machines too.
