There seems to be a big problem using the modem with pulse dialing. When the dialing starts, the screen is filled with blocks of different colors, and no characters. The connection works fine, as I am using the modem to post this, but I have to go to DOS shell (using TELIX) and do a mode co80 to clear the video mess on the screen. Does anyone know what the interfernece problem might be. I can' figure out what the conflict is here. Note: this problem doesn't seem to happen in tone, but unfortunately, this phone system does not support tone dialing. :( Please e-mail any respones, unless it would be of general interest. Thanx.
