BinHex 5.0 will not convert a Mac application to a form suitable for posting
to a UNIX system; the converted file will have control characters imbedded
in it.  BinHex 4.0 will use only printable ASCII characters in the file.

Note also that BinHex 4.0 is PUBLIC DOMAIN (free!), but 5.0 is SHAREWARE.
