Lines: 22 The clock in my MacPlus unexpectedly resets its value, and the other battery RAM values are reset simultaneously. I have had it in for repair, but there is nothing wrong with the hardware. This resetting is most likely to happen when I turn off the computer, and then disconnect the hard drive, especially if I run some other system disk in between. But the whole thing is unpredictable -- sometimes everything works just fine. I have of lots of software on my hard disk, 35 Mb. I think the problem started after I switched to System 6.0. I use an old version of Smart Alarms. The whole thing might be due to a virus, not very likely, but which vira causes this kind of behaviour? (What are their INIT's?) I think this question has been up before, but I don't think the answer was posted. Hans Aberg, Mathematics aberg@math.rutgers.edu
