Hello there.  Excuse me if this gets chewed, I'm not a 
real notes jockey.  In any case ...  look into the HP
DeskJet as an output alternative.  I borrowed one here 
from work one weekend and was _very_ impressed.  It's
quiet, at the least the same resolution as an IW (although
I can't remember the exact dpi figures) and in some cases
better if it uses its internal fonts.  Prices in the U.S.
should be pretty reasonable.  It deserves a serious look.
There are also very good drivers available, I forget by
whom, I'll check in the next few days and e-mail the info
to you.
