For those of you who have not yet seen the latest AppleGram, there is an
interesting article about the ImageWriter LQ.  Because of problems with
printing near the top and botton of pages, and because of the noise the
printer generates, Apple will give any current owner the option of trading
there current LQ in for a newer model that corrects these problems.  Warranty
periods do not matter.  In fact, the new printer that you receive would be
under a brand new warranty.  Seems pretty strange to me, although a very good
gesture on Apple's part.
