For hooking up a SCSI peripheral to a Sun 3/[12]60 system with the
internal (more-or-less inaccessible) SCSI controller, you might check out
the kit from Delta Microsystems. I forget the exact price (somewhere in
the rough vicinity of $100); it includes suitable cabling, and a
replacement card-cage cover plate with a cutout, so you can bring the SCSI
bus out the back of the machine with a standard Sun connector. This makes
life simpler for adding SCSI peripherals, and is a pretty installation.
