In fact, I want to connect it to a PAD (camtec) and to be able to initiate calls or to receive calls from the camtec. The camtec acts as a DTE. Has some already do this ? The try I made is to use a crossed cable (2->3, 3->2, 4+5->8, 6+20, 8->4+5), and define a the devices ttyd0 and cua0 as mentionned in the administrator's manual. IfI disable the logins on ttyd0, I can correctly go through the pad and call. If I allow both input and output, a "getty" is started and a loop is created between the camtec and the sun. This loop last about 20 seconds.... then the Sun crashs ! Any help will be appreciated. Stephane Spahni MHS: spahni@cui.unige.ch UUCP: ...!mcvax!cernvax!cui!spahni BITNET/EARN: spahni@cgeuge51.bitnet
