In looking around I've found a wide range in prices with little explanation of what I'm getting (or lossing) by going with one versus another. For instance, Tandy sells a Tandy Serial Mouse for 49.95 (39.95 from another dealer) and a LogiMouse for 99.95. I've also seen a serial mouse from CompuAdd for $79.00. Then there is the Microsoft mouse for $100.00+. What am I missing with the Tandy Serial Mouse (if anything)? Curtis Conkey att!druco!cac ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The Tandy serial mouse is, for all practical purposes, the same as a Microsoft Serial Mouse. What you don't get with the Tandy mouse is a software diskette (containing mouse drivers), and a manual delineating all the neat Bios style mouse function calls. Tandy puts the serial mouse driver on their DOS diskettes that they sell for their machines. Most other companies, generally offer or provide their own serial mouse drivers too. Microsoft Windows provides it's own mouse drivers with the package. OS2 does the same also. Not all the companies do this, but most of them do have drivers for the mice. The Tandy serial mouse is compatible with the Microsoft version, thus you can pick the Microsoft Mouse Option when your installing a particular program package and it'll work fine. *********************************************************************** Earl W.
