Lines: 18 I have a CoCo 2 and a Radio Shack disk controller. I have been having some problems with my drives. When I format, the CoCo is unable to read sector 8 of every track. Is this a hardware problem or is my controller messed up. I am inclined to think it is a problem with my disk drive. Are the heads misaligned? (This is an MPI single sided drive) I also have another disk drive that can read but not write. I got the drive used and it used to be in an IBM. Someone said that PCs need a ready line cut, and I may need to resolder it. Is this true? What pin (out of 34) is the ready line? -- George M. Regnery ! Worcester ! Albedo 0.39 !
