Keywords: page number margin Message-ID: <3051@nunki.usc.edu> Date: 14 Mar 89 03:16:40 GMT Reply-To: dwu@nunki.usc.edu (Daniel Wu) Organization: University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA Lines: 30 A friend of mine is working on this master's thesis, and he wants to use LaTeX to format it. So far, he's having a devil of a time putting the page number of the upper right hand corner: +------------------------------------------------------------+ | ^ ^ | | | | .5 in | | top margin | V .5 in| | 1 in| pg.no <---->| | | | | | | | V 1 in | | <-------------->| | | | side margin | | | | | We've looked through the LaTeX book, but couldn't seem to find any references that help. I imagine this kind of format must come up quite often, especially for technical documents. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks, Daniel dwu@castor.usc.edu
